Quilt Drawing to Benefit Guest Services

Congratulations to our latest winner:

2009 Amigo Award
Renee, Steve and Eric Upah are the Amigo Award recipients for 2009.
The Upah’s owned Unpainted Furniture and are long term donors supporting
Casa Esperanza’s Annual Art of Hope Auction.

Larry H. Miller Foundation
October, 2009

Casa Esperanza is the beneficiary of a $2500 grant from the Larry H. Miller
Charity Foundation benefiting lodging for Casa Esperanza pediatric patients.

Day of the Tread October 25, 2009
Day of the Tread rider (and friend) take a quick break at the Casa Esperanza 6 mile rest stop.	Angelica Medina, Mia Medina and Crystal Bojorquez are dressed to greet riders on the 3rd Annual Day of the Tread Bike Event.
Over 900 bike riders took on the 12, 25, 50, 80 or 100 mile ride to support Casa Esperanza, Carrie Tingley Foundation and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Johnese Turri and Maryle J. Barber receive a $11,077 2009 Day of the Tread check from Embassy Suites Hotel and Spa general manager Mark Gundlach.

Casa Esperanza was the beneficiary of the sale of raffle tickets for prizes
donated by artists participating in the tent sales.

Stained Glass Window Raffle
September 7, 2009

Congratulations to Kathy Morris from Oak Park United Methodist Church in Bartlesville, OK.
for winning the stained glass windows created and donated by Kathleen Hellman. Karen and
her husband Juan Distefano made the trip to Casa Esperanza to make future plans for the
Oklahoma Volunteers in Mission Teams for 2010 and to pick up the windows for Kathy.
